Happy May and Mother’s Day!

I’m so excited for what this month might hold- and I’m eager to celebrate Mother’s Day with the most amazing woman ever!

“An Oath Fulfilled” – Some Sad News

I’m sad to announce that the company with whom I published my short story, “An Oath Fulfilled” has officially closed down.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to publish with them, however brief, and I’m glad I can walk away from the experience with just that— experience.

What does this mean for “An Oath Fulfilled?”

Currently, it means that the story is no longer hosted on Amazon through that company and is no longer available to purchase.

I plan to work on an alternative means of publishing the story, whether through another company or on my own. It will be interesting to see how God works it all out!

In the meantime, I am continuing to work on my novella, and I’m considering expanding the story of “An Oath Fulfilled” after many “hints” that I should do so.

Novella Update

So far, I have about 2,000 words written for my Novella. Not nearly as much as I hoped to write- but, boy, did April get away from me. Did we even go through all of April? How is it May already? I might start some Matrix conspiracy theories fueled by stress and a lack of sleep. Ha.

Anyway, I plan to start writing up cover art outlines, and maybe even look into getting some professional character art done. We’ll see how much my bank account can handle.

Unfortunately, I now have to find an alternative publisher to submit this future work to, or even go down the avenue of self-publishing. Have some suggestions? Comment below!

Upcoming Content

Did I promise some fun stuff for last month? Kind of…

My apologies.

I have about ten different articles in various stages of completion, just collecting digital dust and waiting for me to suck it up and finish them. But it’s coming.

I promise.

I recently watched Marvel’s “The Thunderbolts” in theaters, and I’m considering writing a few pieces about it, now that it is in my top favorite movies list.

Point being: don’t give up on me! Have some faith.
