“An Oath Fulfilled”
It’s official! My short story, “An Oath Fulfilled,” is published and out in the great big world!
So far, I have four FIVE-STAR Amazon reviews! (You gotta start small 😉)
Here’s what some people had to say about my debut short story:
“This Teen/YA short story has non-stop suspense leaves you wanting more.”
“The story will leave readers with strong emotions that cause important reflection and introspection about the dark things we find inside ourselves.”
“The writing pulled me into the action.”
“I was left wanting to know more about the characters and what their next encounters will hold.”
I’m so thankful for all the wonderful people who have taken the time to purchase, read, and review my work! Click the link below if you are interested in buying “An Oath Fulfilled” and leaving a review:

Upcoming Content
It’s been decided: I am a slacker.
In reality, I’ve just been really, really busy; balancing two jobs, doing events for RavenScript Jewelry, finalizing and promoting “An Oath Fulfilled,” working on a new writing project [more on that below], and doing Kids Ministries at church. I also recently got the opportunity to begin transcribing some written works for a friend, which I am pretty excited to get started on. (So, the opposite of slacking, kind of…)
Point being, I haven’t exactly given myself tons of time to write on here, which needs to change.
I’m working on ideas for some quick, easy content that will, hopefully, not take up too much time and be enjoyable for my small (and possibly non-existent) audience.
This could mean anything from a fun collection of memes to book and movie reviews, so stay tuned!
Project In the Works
I’m excited to officially announce that I have another “official” writing project in the works, a medieval/fantasy novella that’s been in progress for far too long.
Draft one is complete, at a total of 15,584 words!
Typically, a novella falls into a word count of 17,500-40,000 words total. The publisher I’m looking at submitting to requires a minimum of 17,000 for their novella submissions. This means that draft one falls about 2,000 words short of the mark.
As I begin to rewrite and work on draft two, I’m going to aim for a total word count of 18,000. This will allow me to expand on some scenes and do some important edits.
I’m so excited! Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish this second draft in a month or two.
Then comes some major editing, a few more rewrites, and the title reveal!
Be sure to check in and stay tuned for exciting news on the story, characters, setting, and title.
I can’t wait!
